workday beverage consumption: two ddp's (diet dr. peppers) a day. i can't stand the taste of coffee so ddp is my substitute. what do you consume at work on the average day? i am curious.

personality. i am an ISTJ. this supposedly makes me a guardian/inspector. not everything said about those character types applies to me. people can't be neatly pigeon-holed into 16 character classes. still, when reading through the descriptions of the opposing dimensions of temperament (ie. extrovert vs. introvert) the ISTJ classification seems to fit.

what a pitiful existence. i am trapped in an air conditioned office. i can see the beautiful summer weather but i can not feel it. i will escape...

had lunch today with a friend (?) and a couple of his buddies on the patio at the spaghetti factory. perverts. i admire the female form as much as the next guy but these guys weren't at all subtle. openly staring. making crass comments. i wanted to get up and leave. i left early, making excuses about having to be back at the office. i feel dirty.

i sometimes wish i could read people's minds but then i realize i am probably lucky not to know what others are thinking about me. ignorance is bliss.

who? just to put things into context: i am a single 23 year old male. i was born, raised and am currently living in western canada. i received a bachelor of science (major in computer science) a couple years ago -- yeah, i guess that qualifies me as a geek. i'm currently working as a software developer. i am viator.

why? i am an introvert. i have decided that i need a place to freely express myself. this is that place. do not expect to find anything revolutionary here. i am not pre-occupied with having a unique web page design as so many are (indeed it would be quite futile if i was given my lack of creativity.) this is simply a place for me to write about my feelings, my thoughts, my emotions... things that i don't feel free to share with people i know.

you can call me viator. viator means 'traveller' in latin. i am a traveller. we are all travellers. some of us just aren't aware of it. we'll reach our destination when we die.
